You can only find players that have same version as you.
So in other words you can only play with people that have the cracked version.
Retail players already updated there MW2 version, so your kicked out of that pool of people to find peers to connect.
Also there is a Ping Search besides the MW2 version match.
So the game Will Search for Peers with 1.0.159 + Ping under 100ms or so to connect out of the 5000+ games being hosted lol
So thats why it will take over 5-10min to find a game.
Most people play Ground War/ Mosh Pit, pretty much instant MATCH if you look for a game.
Just tested it on v 1.0.159 and I can find Games/MATCh;s fine in Ground War/Mosh Pit, and Play.
I suggest you go to gamecopyworld and download lv 70 profile editor so it unlocked all the game types.

Please try this guys ONLY FOR SKIDROW CRACK.
1.APPLY THE SKIDROW CRACK.
2.COPY THE FILES OF 1.0.66 CRACK to install FOLDER.
3.LAUNCH MULTIPLAYER.
OR
APPLY THE UPDATE and THE CRACK.

MULTIPLAYER ONLINE NOT KICK NEVER ..WORKS o/ solution..
1.First make sure you have an steam account and your logged in
2.Make sure you change your nickname and give it a space (kick fix)
3.By doing this Start Steam then go to File>>Settings>>Friends>>Nickname example > Zer0w > Z er0w
4.Then join a game and play!

STAFF HELLO this is my first post .. 'm from Brazil. could solve this solution is very easy .... Copy the Modern Warfare 2 which was in program files .. and move
C: \ ProgramFiles \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \
after doing this download this file .... *****
and paste inside the game folder
ready .. now change to a name that contains spaces can not ban you .. example
TEST # 06 'KSI
OR CAN BE ... *@&#*&# IT'S BE A NICK WITH SPACE AND WITH SIGNS .. (*@&#*&#
*GUESS WHAT WAS WRONG HERE ?? - SIGNED W.L.
You can post links if they do not contain warez or some like that... what about posting a link to the source/forum who did create this file/info?? ... this forum needs rules related to the countrylaws placed in! PLEASE(!) think about it!
